A small industry manufacturing fabrics made for the production of working clothes. This is the Tessitura di Robecchetto Candiani in 1938, the year in which it was founded.
Located a few kilometres from Milan, world fashion capital, and from the international airport of Malpensa, hidden in the green of the Ticino Park, the company has enlarged and evolved its structure also thanks to the important contribution given by the local district, one the most active manufacturing areas in Italy.
In 1976, after the installation of the first indigo dyeing range, the company concentrated exclusively on the production of what would then guarantee its success: the Denim fabric.
Since then numerous and important investments have been continuously made to improve and innovate the product’s quality: each individual department has been enlarged and improved through the purchase of technologically advanced machinery, the number of employees has progressively increased and in the same way the relative know-how with the product, Denim, a fabric that throughout the years has transformed its original nature, from simple and basic, into a sophisticated and refined fashion object.
The most recent investment in the Malvaglio plant, a new industrial mill built a few kilometres from the main structure in Robecchetto, an investment which demonstrates the confidence given to this area.
Thanks to this further enlargement, Tessitura di Robecchetto Candiani today has over 650 employees, produces 35 million meters each year and can be considered the most advanced industrial structure in the history of Denim.
The success of the company’s management and the Candiani family, now in its fourth generation, has always been based on innovation and diversification of its Denim and they continue to preserve the importance of a magnificent and inimitable product Made In Italy.
